Hello all,
I wanted to let everyone know exactly where we are at on everything I am aware of. I will take it by areas of the world.
U.S.A / Brazil/ Russia
First of all, I wanted to give a huge thanks to backers Matt and Eric for coming out and braving the heat of the warehouse to help us get these orders out. Eric came out three full days, so as far as I am concerned, he's the Jarl.
Please note that I made an error in previous posts regarding where some of the countries were shipping from. We had broken all the countries down and I thought we had chosen to send many of them through the U.S. but apparently, it made more sense at the time to ship those countries from the UK. It was an oversight that will affect about 30 backers, the largest group being those in Japan.
We spent the entire week packing and shipping as much as we possibly could and got everything done short of 416 packages. We are in the middle of a heat wave here in St. Louis and the warehouse is is a balmy 100+ degrees so we opted to skip shipping on Saturday and we will pick up those last pieces on Monday. We are averaging around 400 a day so it should all get done and out on Monday. The orders I know for sure that we have left are Jarl pledges with every add on except the base game (wood kits 1&2, mat, promos, sleeves) and any order that includes multiples of anything.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We ran out of the food and wood upgrade kits. If you ordered these, we will be shipping it separately in about 3 weeks.
Some people have asked about the shipping method and tracking. The method is FedEx Smartpost which means FedEx starts the shipment and hands it off to the post office in your area. Some have reported that FedEx is shipping the entire way and while that might happen, it is not what is "suppose" to happen. There is no tracking with this method and shipping typically takes about 3-4 days but can take as much as 10 days (although that is VERY rare). Some people have reported getting updates about their package shipping and I honestly have no clue what triggers this. However, please note these labels were pre-printed before the product arrived. So just because you received a notice, it does not necessarily mean that the order has shipped.
For Brazil and Russia orders, we have not started those yet as each one requires filling out a form by hand and we will do these as soon as we are finished with the "easy" shipments, probably on Tuesday.
If you were one of the people that got the wrong stickers, do not worry about letting us know. We know who you are. We just have to get these other orders out before we move on to shipping out those stickers. It should happen this week though.
If your package was missing something or had something wrong with it. Please rest assured that we will fix it, we just won't be able to do anything about it until we get these other orders out. For now, please email [email protected] with the title "CoM KS problem". In the email please include the exact issue, your KS name and your physical address. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
Canada
Your product is well on its way to Snakes and Lattes. We have not received confirmation that it has reached them, but are hoping to get that any day now and I will update once that happens.
Asia
All of these should be out the door. Please note the change in Japan's shipping.
AU / NZ
Your product is with Aetherworks and I will ask for an update on Monday. Once I know more details I will give them to you.
EU / UK / Argentina / Japan / Mexico / Iceland (any other not listed)
The only change here is the addition of a few of the countries being shipped out of the UK rather than the US.
Finally, I am aware that some people are frustrated about not having their games as quickly as others or that we are currently 3 weeks past our promised June delivery. I fully admit that we did make some mistakes and we did have some things happen that were out of our control and I am truly sorry for that. All I can say is that we are doing the best we can and will make sure that everyone gets what they pledged for.

Shipping update and a word about the sticker sets

Hi all,
We are about 60% of the way through the U.S orders and should be finished up by Saturday at the latest.
Some of you have started receiving your games, which is great. However, we were suppose to hold off on sending out the wood upgrade kits #2 because the sticker for the coins and round marker were incorrect, they should have been clear, not white (printer error). The corrected ones are arriving tomorrow and will go out as normal, with all the rest of the shipments. Unfortunately, about 500 shipments with the wood kits went out by accident and we will be sending all of you the corrected sticker sheets separately. Those will be a top priority next week after we have gotten the expansions out the door.
Asia orders have all now been mailed.
EU/UK are still a couple weeks out from arriving at the fulfillment center.
AU / NZ should be shipping out any day now.
Canada's product is well on it's way to Snakes and Lattes as well. We'll keep you updated as we know more.

Shipping update

Hello backers,
WE started the process of shipping out the games yesterday. All told we have about 4300 US orders to fulfill and we knocked out about 1900 of them yesterday (see pic of one of the two shipping lines). We are hoping to have everything shipped out by Friday and I'll let you know if we hit that mark on Friday. Reason being is that we will only have 3 people working on these through the week and the orders left are the more complicated ones. We still think we'll have them all out by Friday.
Austraila/NZ shipments should start going out this week as well as Asia.
Canadian product is on the way to Snakes and Lattes and I'll let you know when they receive and the expected shipping time,
EU is still on the water and should be landing at Gamesquest in 2-3 weeks. Rest assured that it is on the way and will be handled professionally when it arrives at Gamesquest. I would have hoped for arrival sooner but there was some miscommunication with the manufacturer, ourselves and Gamequest that ended up delaying it by about 2 weeks. I do apologize to those that have expressed some frustration over this and I just hope that the game we deliver will be have been worth the wait. We believe it will.

Hello all,
We now have almost everything (except 2 pieces that are being airmailed with a Friday delivery) in the warehouse and are ready to start putting it all together and out the door to you. I've taken a panoramic pic of many of the pallets, stacked 4 deep, of goodies as well as the wall of shipping boxes (far right) we've already pre-made to help jump start us on Saturday.
We have 15 people lined up for Saturday to hopefully get at least half of our orders packed up with a final completion date of the 21st.
All other locations will start their shipping over the next week as well, except for the EU, which will receive their product in about 3 weeks and Canada fulfillment which should have our product in hand starting late next week or early the week after.
On a side note, one of our good friends, Gilbert Anderson, has created a board game T-shirt related KS. He has privately shared a fantastic "Got Blame?" shirt with me and I believe he intends to unlock it if the funding hits high enough. Maybe if you comment enough to see it, he'll be kind enough to show it. You can check out the campaign here.

Update on shipping

Hi all,
We were at Dice Tower Convention (just got back a few hours ago) this past week so I apologize for the lack of communication. There was nothing noteworthy to report, until today anyway.
The first of the three US containers has arrived today and the next two will arrive by Wednesday. This is fantastic news, however, the rounded corner pieces and the couple of other missing components will not arrive until Friday according to our forwarding company. We will start prepping everything on Wednesday so that we can "hit the ground running" the second those extra pieces arrive. We will be working all day Saturday to get a head start on this and hopefully will have the last package shipped out by Friday of next week. I promise to send some pics by Friday.
In addition, we will get the Canadian order out to Snakes and Lattes (fulfillment partner) on Friday and they should receive and start their process about a week to 10 days after ours.
China has their product and should be able to start shipping within the next few days.
Australia and NZ will have their additional components in a week.
The UK/EU is on the way and is estimated to arrive in about 3 weeks.
All other locations will be going out from the US.
I apologize for the delays so far, but at least there is now a real light at the end of the tunnel and everyone should be on their way to glorious battle and Valhalla in about 2-4 weeks ;-)
